It was the trip of a lifetime!  40 years ago I lived in Barcelona - just one block from the Sagrada Familia.  I returned to this amazing city for a two-week trip this fall.

A beautiful tribute to Steve Jones

Steve Jones and I have been officially retired for a few months now and it is still a bit difficult to believe that the ride is over.  I'd like to share this wonderful reflection on Steve's career... kudos to Michael Kreuser, Steve's son-in-law, who put it all together!

Portrait of Tom Rowe

In Autumn of 2012 I was commissioned to do a painting for Tom Rowe's 60th birthday.  It was, in a word, ambitious.  I was asked to capture the many facets of Tom - family man, Christian, structural engineer - on one canvas.  Here is the progress of that painting which was presented to Tom during his 60th celebration on December 29, 2013.  Happy Birthday, Tom!!

Time for a change

I'm experimenting with a new look for my blog.  Thinking of going to a more dynamic view someday.  In the meantime, this is nice and simple.  Here is the most recent progress on my still life painting...
